If it's a Boy...(Part Two-Bedding)

Again, off I went to Pottery Barn Kids to look for some adorable boy bedding. Well, I was very disappointed. I could not believe that they did not have a single set I liked. I was pretty dead set that I would get my bedding from here no matter what, but that did not seem to look like the case. I was getting frustrated with this whole bedding thing and had no idea where to look now...

I went to Babies R Us to see what they had. They had to have something I liked right? I came across this cute bedding. To me it screamed "BOY". Which is what I wanted. What really sold me was the cute little mobile (you can't see it really well here) but it looks like it was hand crochet...very pretty. handsome.

But of course I couldn't just settle here, what if there was something else out there that I liked even more? So off I went to Caden Lane's website. They had some gorgeous bedding...

I started to think that I wasn't sure if I really wanted a "theme" nursery. So this bedding seemed to fit the bill. Plus, a girlfriend of mine had this bedding for her little girl so I knew it would hold up well and it was good quality. And I could get it as a discount through a retailer...SCORE! So I thought I had my mind made up. Caden Lane was what I was going to get for little boy.

Until I ran across this website...Javis Davis
I had hit the jackpot! This is exactly what I was looking for. I could now make whatever bedding I wanted!! I was so excited. I thought custom bedding was going to be very expensive but this company had very affordable CUSTOM bedding.

I could create whatever combination I wanted and it wasn't "themed" which is what I think I have finally decided I want, a no theme nursery. I played around with the outside/inside combinations with the bumper, picked which welting, ties, sheets and skirt. I was in love. I played around for hours creating several different combinations until I finally came up with one.

Sad to say that my fabrics are no longer available so I cant show you what I ultimately picked but if you go to there site, you will not be disappointed.

And of course they have amazing girl bedding as well.

Two of my girlfriends have purchased their bedding from here and have been very pleased so far.

I must say that at two months my doctor told me to take off the bumper :( So I did feel it was a waste of money, I wish I had known they were going to tell me that but oh well. His room is still super cute and I can say he has custom bedding!
