If its a girl...(Part One-Bedding)

When I found out I was pregnant I was so excited to start looking for bedding and start planning out his/her room. I didn't care if I knew it was a boy or girl yet or not, I would just plan out two rooms. I first started with a girls room. Because, hey, lets just be honest, girl stuff is way cuter! Well my first stop was Pottery Barn Kids. I was pretty sure if I had a girl I would be getting my bedding from there. So, off I went to the PB Kids website...

These were my top three. They are all gorgeous and I liked them, but they were just not "it"

So off I went to a little site called Land of Nod...

Theses two were my favorites off the website but they were the same thing but in different colors, again...not "it"

So off I went to Dwell. I found one set that I thought was cute but it was just too modern for what I was looking for.

Then I came across the amazing Serena and Lily. OMG! TO DIE FOR!!!

I actually first saw the Serena and Lily at Layla Grayce and fell in love. By the way, Layla Grayce has some amazingly beautiful things. Go check out the site if you haven't already.

So, I have now totally fallen in love with Serena and Lily...I must have it! The baby girl must have it! She is going to glam baby right? So why not start her off right?! I totally talked myself into Serena and Lily bedding until I looked at how much it was.

There was no way I could justify spending that much money on something she would end up pooping, peeing, and spitting up on. Plus, she wouldn't be in it that long and the doctor would probably end up making me take the bumpers off anyways. Sooooo...

I was devastated now. What would baby girl sleep on? She was not going to have any bedding because there was just nothing out there that was "it". So my hunt stopped. I told myself I would stop looking at girl stuff until I knew for sure if it was a boy or girl.

But, I could still look at boy stuff and plan out the boys room :)
