Baby Shower Decor-DIY

I love baby showers! They are so fun and the decor is always so cutsey and pretty.

I have hosted 2 baby showers recently and they were so fun to put together. I was in charge of the decor which I loved!

These two pictures below are from my best friends shower. I made a baby wreath and a diaper cake. Both were huge hits. I also did a girly clothes line with onesies going across.

This is the only picture I could find of the wreath. It's hard to see in the background there but it had some onesies tied up with tulle, rattles, socks, color coordinating hair bows, itty bitty girly sunglasses, and some bright colored teething keys all tied with little fun colored ties.

This wreath was a huge hit!

I also made this diaper cake. It was so fun to make and was the perfect centerpiece for the food table.

The picture does not do it justice, but I must say it turned out adorable!

The key to a beautiful diaper cake is to make it look like an actual cake (I am not a fan of the diaper cakes that you can see the diapers, I feel like it looks messy). If you place blankets around each layer and secure them tightly then you get that nice smooth look, then place your accessories around ribbons of each layer and of course you must have a cake topper.

Here is another shower I hosted. The inspiration for the centerpiece (you can't really see it too well here :) ) is from Amy Atlas. The centerpiece was cone shaped and filled with white spider mums and placed on a upside down cake stand. It was very easy to make and made a great statement piece.
