Where to go?

Instead of being couped up in the house on the weekends or the days Little C does not have daycare we like to go out and do something. I prefer to walk around the mall orTarget and places like that with him but that can put a dent in mommies wallet when she sees something she must have :)  (Target gets me everytime) What are some other places to go that are kid friendly and FREE besides....

The Library
Little C is still kinda young to enjoy story time.

 And the park...
Not much he can do here besides swing in the baby swing. Which he loves by the way!

I am stuck on places to go that won't cost us too much money.
Any thoughts? What do you mommies do with your little ones to entertain the both of you and cost next to nothing?

I don't have any genius ideas. I'm sorry! My childhood memories are the park and library mostly. Ohh and the zoo? Have a great weekend though!

I don't have a little one yet, but I know our local art museum is family friendly, adult stimulating and free to everyone on Sundays. I cannot wait to get there and check it out with our little one this coming winter!

How about Barnes & Noble? They do a story time some days, but then of course you run the risk of having to buy some books. But at least they are educational! Sometimes we go to Whole Foods and put her in the carts with the car attached (after heavy cleansing of course) and she gets a kick out of steering and pretend honking.

I haven't taken Trey yet but a lot of my mom friends have told me that they aquarium is fun for them at this age (if you have one) because they like to watch the fishies and the lights are fun for them!

When we go to the park we usually end up using the baby swing, strolling in the stroller or I'll carry him in the sling. We're also starting to take a blanket and toys to just sit and play on. :)

I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend!!

I have heard that many museums/play centers don't charge for kiddos under 1. I have a 9 month old and haven't taken advantage of this, but I guess I need to soon!
