My Friday's Fancies::Kentucky Derby,Cinco De Mayo::

Since I love nothing more than to get dressed up,
as well as a holiday that celebrates the excuse to drink margaritas and eat my fav chips & salsa.
I decided to put together an outfit for each occasion.

First up, the oh so classy Kentucky Derby.
Each year I dream of attending this fabulous event.
Big obnoxious hat and mint julep in hand.
To me, that is what completes the Derby look.
Kentucky Derby

I decided to go with a basic dress, pair it with some fun heels and glitz it up with some major bling.
Being fashionable and over the top is what the Derby is all about to me.
But of course you must do it in a classy manor.
And I think that this outfit does just that.
It's still fun but still says, hey lets have a classy good time.

Now, you see, I used to work at a Mexican restaurant in college.
I loved it!
I loved it so much because I swear I could eat Mexican food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Mexican is my ultimate favorite food.
I could live off chips & salsa.

So when AV said we could do an outfit around Cinco De Mayo I squealed!
My husband knows that it is hands down my favorite holiday.
Yes, I consider it a holiday.
If we are not going out because of baby, then we definitely will be stocking up
on non other than chips, salsa, loads of margaritas, enchiladas and some tacos.
It's a day of drinking, stuffing your face, all while no calorie counting.
Its Cinco De Mayo!

Here is an idea of something I would normally wear for this special drinking day.

The crazy thing about this outfit is a forgot one MAJOR accessory.
My margarita in hand.
What was I thinking?

Do you all have any fun plans for the Derby or Cinco De Drinko?
