Working Mama Wears

As you all probably know by now that
I am a full time working mama.
I am a Paralegal.
I often sit in my cubicle and am a slave to my computer screen
but I also meet with clients.

With that being said, I need to look some what presentable at work.
I am a reflection of my boss and want to look nice for his firm.

I have put together several different looks and pieces to show you
all what this mom bod wears to work on a daily basis.
And I have tried to take all the guessing out of these outfits,
I have included the stores of where to purchase the pieces.
I have tried to keep the pieces affordable.
Because lets be honest, us mama's have a budget.

Some days I feel like being more dressy than others
and the below outfits are just that.

Working Mom Wears

Black pants are a working mama's staple.
I can't even tell you how many black pants I have.
From cropped pants that I can wear with flats
to longer pants I wear with heels.
To straight legged pants to boot legs.
There are so many options for black pants.

Don't forget to throw a couple pairs of
bright fun colored pants into your wardrobe too.
They can make a statement all on their own.

Also, any plain blouse or printed shirt looks beautiful with black pants.
Black pants instantly dress up any top.
Working Mama Khakis

Another great look are khakis paired with a nice flowy blouse or even a button up.
Khakis are super comfy and look cute and put together with almost any top.
I get a lot of my shirts I wear with my khakis from Old Navy, Gap and LOFT.
You really can not go wrong with khaki pants in my opinion.

Work Shoes

Now, shoes are one thing I will splurge on (besides a nice bag for myself).
So there are a couple of more expensive shoes mingled in
here but for the most part they are priced at a good price point.

A must have working mama shoe are flats.
I simply can not work in heels all the time so flats are the key.
Ann Taylor, J Crew, Tory Burch and even TJ Maxx have some fabulous comfortable flats.
I prefer to have a black and brown pair.
I keep it easy, because black and brown go with everything.
That way if you only stick to black and brown you can splurge on some comfortable flats
rather than having a colorful closet full of uncomfortable flats that you dread putting on.

Now, another must have are a pair of black and nude heels.
Again, make sure they are comfortable.
Comfort is the key.
Not only for working, but you are most likely rushing around with your child in your arms.
You don't want to end up tripping in four inch heels with your sweet face in your arm.
So again, comfort.
Although four to six inch heels look hot, you will be tortured in them.
Just don't do it.
Save those sky high heels for the weekends when you go on date night.

A nice bright pair of heels or printed pair of flats are fun to add into your wardrobe too.
So, think outside of the box.
A bright pair or print will go with more than you think.
Trust me, I wear my leopard flats with everything.

These are all great options for work. I love to mix it up dressing up most days and when I'm lazy a cute business casual outfit! With some cute leopard print shoes of course!

I love the coral top but it seems like it would be REALLY low cut, is this the case?

I have so many black pants I can't even count. I try to switch it up every now and then, but most of the time I end up just wearing my old standbys.
