Glitter, glitter, everywhere!
Pinterest has inspired me to do a photo shoot
with my sweet face and well, GLITTER!
our glitter session and she did an amazing job!
As you know,
toddlers and glitter normally don't go together,
but with a few tips from me,
hopefully your session can go very smoothly.
First of all, you will want to buy chunky glitter.
I actually bought two kinds.
Next, be prepared for a big, big mess.
Do your session outside.
Not only because of the mess
but because you will need the sun to catch the flecks of glitter
to make your photo shine.
If need be scout out the best lighting.
We did our session in a park just about an hour or two before it was to get dark.
If you think your toddler can handle blowing glitter all by themselves.
Well, you will be sorely disappointed.
Glitter will be everywhere but in the photo.
Since they will need help,
sit down and place your toddler in your lap.
Cup your toddlers hands over your hands.
Have someone else dump the two kinds of glitter into you and your toddlers hands.
When prompted by the photographer,
blow away and let the magic happen on the camera.
Make sure you listen for sweet giggles.
Hand placement is very important in this photo.
In fact it could make or break your whole photo.
Notice how our hands are cupped and away from our faces.
You want the placement of your hands to be below your chin so that
the camera can see your face.
Just have fun with it, laugh and smile.
And see glitter for days on end in your hair, clothes, car, everywhere.
