My Friday's Fancies::New Year New You::



I welcome 2013 with open arms.
I hope and pray that there are many fantastic things that come my way in 2013. What those fantastic things are, I am just going to keep to myself until God blesses me with those things that I have been praying for.

But one thing I know that I need to work on is my health and fitness.
And why can't you work out and get sweaty all while looking fabulous.
Well Nike makes it super easy.
They have some super stylish women's work out clothes at a reasonable price.
Plus add some work out equipment with a pop of color, like a colorful jump rope, shoes, and stop watches to clock your times.


New Year New You

Please help and keep me accountable.
I would like to start working out at least 3 times a week and stick to it.
Then after I know I can work out at least 3 times a week I can always bump up to another day. 
I want to start off slow by eating healthier and working out.
Sounds easy enough but for me I know its a long process with A LOT OF SELF CONTROL that I really don't have.

Oh Lordy the get fit days are here. I am sitting here in my pj's eating a saturated fat Pop Tart watching the Today Show. Apparently I am supposed to be eating plain, Greek yogurt, whole-wheat bread with turkey, etc. I am going to die a slow fat life :-)! Ha!

I've been working out in the morning and so far it's been so much easier than working out in the afternoon. It really makes me do it!

Good look! Working out makes me feel incredible. I don't feel right if I don't get in some form of exercise everyday. And you're right, pretty things make it more fun! I have bright pink running shoes and my husband gave me some nice monogrammed shorts for Christmas. I run faster in them! :)

We're totally in this together, girl!! I wrote about this on NYE on my blog and have been doing pretty good since the new year started! Workouts haven't really been implemented yet but proper diet has and I ALREADY feel so much better!! Good luck to you!!
