L'Oreal B.B. Cream Review

I have to say that this is by far the best drugstore makeup product
I have ever, ever, ever used.
It actually tops the list of some of my expensive Sephora purchases.

It's L'Oreal's BB Cream.

BB Cream

It's $10.95 for a 1 ounce tube.
It comes in 4 shades of colors and
Primes, perfects, hydrates and corrects.
And it is amazing!!

You know all those commercials you keep seeing about B.B. Creams.
Well, they work and they are magical.

I have now included it in my everyday makeup essentials.
I don't go a day without wearing it.
You can even wear it by itself and notice a huge change.

Take a look at my understated look here.
See how it smoothes out my skin.
Because im going to be real with you and tell you that my skin does not normally look that good.
I am not going to be as real enough as to show you what it looks like before a drop of makeup though.
Sorry.
Im not into keeping it THAT real.

So next time you are on your Target run pick up some L'oreal B.B. Cream.
You will not regret it.
Who doesn't wan to look younger and more beautiful?!

This product was given to me to review but all the opinions expressed are 100% mine.

Uh Oh No Valentine's?!

So the conversation goes a little something like this last week, ya know two weeks BEFORE Valentines Day...

Me: "So, should I go ahead and get Valentine's for C's class?"
A rhetorical question to be honest.

Hubs: "No, that is crazy, he is two years old.
People don't like to do that crafty stuff like you do,
the parents and teacher will think you are nuts."

Me: "You think?
I mean I like to do that kinda stuff.
What do you mean people don't like to do that "crafty stuff"
everyone likes to make pretties."

Hubs: "No, no they don't.
Again with the crazy."

So, I actually listened to my husband for once.
I never, ever, listen to him about this kinda stuff.
I normally just talk to talk and I think I was actually shocked that he respondend to me and listened for once that I actually listend back.

Well, enough with the listening.
Because when I get to C's school yesterday,
after I long, long day at work,
and a million things on my plate.
They hand me his daily report which was of course perfect, but there was a list of all the kids in his class names on the back.
So of course I ask what the names are for.
Hello, Cheryl, obviously the Valentines party that is on, well, Valentines Day.

I can't even tell you how annoyed I was.
I am a planner.
A type A to the T.
I did not plan to have to go out, after I was just at the grocery store mind you.
And now I don't just have to go out and find the perfect Valentine,
I have to go out with a ravenous toddler.
Awesome.
Why, oh why did I listen to my husband.
I should have gone with my gut and whipped up some cute personalized Valentine's.
Because lets be honest.
C must have the cutest Valentines in his class.
It is a must.
I must be a super mom.

Now, I can't just run to the store and by the boxed kinda with candy.
Nope, I have to hop onto Pinterest and find a cute printable and send it of to Kinkos.

So, after my long drawn out story,
I picked this printable from One Charming Party.

Not too shabby huh.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Love, not a super mom this week

Valentine's Day Fashions

Valentines Day

With the love day around the corner I have had
Valentine's Day fashion in my head.
And of course what popped into my head was pink.
And black.
Pink and black.
With splashes of extra sparkles of course.

With the many options of ways to spend the night with my love,
I danced with thoughts in my head of what I would wear and to what type of event I would be attending.
A strapless dress for more of a sexy feel.
Maybe a night out at a trendy new restaurant and then a new fun club.
A nice pair of black pants paired with lacy top for a nice dinner out
and then maybe a romantic comedy followed by drinks.
Or a lacy dress paired with sky high heels for some fondue
and drinks out chatting about our love story and love children.

Oh Valentine's Day, how I love you!
And your hot pink fashions!

Now what are you up on this special day?

Inevitable

I know boys like swords, guns, and all things hit 'em up bang 'em up
but I never ever thought that my sweet face would be into that sort of thing.
Not my child.
He would be sweet and full of hugs, kisses, and love his Mama until forever.
To just be content with playing his Thomas the trains and Legos.
All completely harmless and educational toys.
These I condone.
In fact I as a Mama can sit down and play trains and Legos with him for hours.

Well,  reality as a boy Mom has slapped me right in the face.
My precious Thomas the Train lover is now walking around making shooting noises.
Oh and those educational Legos have turned into toy guns.
Great. Just Great.

Example of my toddlers weapon paraphernalia.

Where does this come from?
Do they just wake up one morning and a like a light switch something is flipped and
they all of a sudden become obsessed the violent objects?

For the record I do not condone violence toys/objects,
so what do does a boy Mama do in this situation?
Does this go away?
Do I just go with it?
Do I play guns with him and promote these actions.

I never thought I would run into this problem,
but here I am.
Any suggestions are welcomed.
Actually,
please, please help!!!

Ski Bunny It

Ski Bunny

Ski Bunny by cheryl-enlow featuring ski hats

First and foremost let me say this...
I am a Florida girl.
I do not do snow.
Period.
End of question.
I lived in Missouri for exactly one year and went through one "mild" winter
and hated every second of it.
So, I have gotten to experience both climates and am not a fan of the cold.

Last week it got down into the 40's in Florida and I thought I was going to freeze my booty off.
I had my big heavy pea coat on and all.
Thats how we do it in Florida when it gets below 60.

So excuse me if this Ski Bunny outfit is not really appropriate in the snow because I am clueless.
I went for straight up fashion here.
How did I do?

Again as you notice I like outfits with a pop of color so I tried to add some color into this
ski outfit.
You gotta be bright there on the slopes (at least thats what I hear..haha) and pink will sure do that.
Plus you will be the fashion snow queen out there too.
