So comfy.

Stretch marks?  No thanks.

Sleep: I slept like Sleeping Beauty on our vaca but I can't nap worth a darn which is not like me.

Best moment this week:  The whole vacation was more than perfect.
We did nothing but lay out by the pool, nap (or not), watched movies and ate.
I want to go back.

Have you told family and friends:  Uh huh.

Miss Anything?  Our vacation and not having to do anything I don't want to do.

Movement:  Very little again this week.

Food cravings:  Nothing this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Nope.

Have you started to show yet:  Yep.

Gender prediction: I guessed C's birth and I think I am right on with this one too...eeeekk!

Belly Button in or out?

It is in but not sure for how much longer.

Wedding rings on or off? On but they are getting pretty snug.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Well since I was on vacation and didn't have a care in the world,
I would say HAPPY!

Looking forward to: Going to the doctor and seeing how much I weigh and getting back to the grind of work...duh...HAHA.
I am looking forward to the doc to make sure everything is ok but thats about it.

Lookin Hot While Wearin A Baby

I was recently browsing Pinterest for different ways to wear babies.
From the Moby, K'Tan, BabyBjorn, BabyHawk, Ergo, Boba, and Bali Breeze,
my poor pregnancy brain was swimming.

All I want to do is be able to hold my sweet little bitty babe hands free
while I battle and try to persuade the Tot to get off the table and not throw his Lego gun at the dog.
Mama' will need all the extra hands she can get or make out of some crazy contraption wrapped around my body that may cause my newborn to dangle for it's life if its not secured correctly.

As my head started to pound from looking at all the different options,
a certain picture popped up in my Pinterest feed.
This picture captivated me.
It literally made me gasp.

Jared Enlow
This.
This is the picture.
Now, I am not here to say that this baby may or not not be photo shopped in,
and ill tell you what.
I don't really care.
This is hot.
A man wearing a baby.
I never thought I would say that until I had kid of my own.
But men who can look this hot and bad ass all while wearing a baby are alright in my book.

I highly doubt I could get my husband to wear our new sweetface but it's worth a try.
I may needs some suggestions on how to get him to do this.
He is down for some kangaroo-ing in the privacy of his own home.
I doubt he will step out in daylight with a wrap on.
Not to mention how he will even get the sucker on by himself and secure a baby in it properly.
At least I have several more months to work on this idea.
Again, any suggestions welcome.
My husband will be that "Hot Dad".
And yes, I am ok with that.

My Friday's Fancies::Neon and Nude::

Neon and Nude

Neon and Nude by cheryl-enlow featuring a rose gold bracelet

I have to admit,
I jumped onto the neon bandwagon.
I am not an out there dresser so this trend is a bit much for me.
So as a way to add some subtlety I add a punch of nude to the mix.
I personally think that this adds the perfect balance.

Do you like all the neon or do you feel like you have flashed back to the 80's?
Although I think its fun I think it can be a bit much easily.
So my advice when you are rocking the neons, don't over do it.
You don't want to look like you just stepped into a 80's work out video.

Make sure you go visit AV's blog to check out the other Neons.

The Mama Memoirs

Today I am linking up with pretty Mama, Mandy,
from A Sorta Fairy Tale Blog
for the mama memoirs.
And here is a letter to my sweet face.
Dear C,
It's called a Potty.
Or if you would like to use that ever creative mind of yours,
Toilet, John, Loo, Can, Throne, Crapper, The Office.
I could care less what you call it, even though some of the above words are a little less
appropriate for a small kiddo like yourself.
But again, I really don't care,
call it The Shitter for all I care.
Mommy just wants you to use the darn thing.

The Bathroom wants to be your friend.
This is the only place where you can get away with doing nothing but sit for an hour.
In total silence, that is unless you are Mommy.
Your Father can help you learn the ropes when it comes to disappearing on hours on end
and coming out and acting like hours just did not pass.
It's like a Man's rite of passage.
It's actually a gift I think.

Now, I don't want you to grow up too quickly, no, I really don't.
But you are 2.5 and are not even on your way to using The Shitter.
Please, please, just sit on the ever loving thing will ya.
That is step one and I don't think that is too much to ask.
You have a small floor potty and a potty seat to use over the big potty.
Pick one.

Just think, you wont have to walk around with pee in your pants anymore.
That must feel so relieving.
And don't take Billy Madison's word for it, all the cool kids are not doing it.
Peeing your pants is not cool.

I keep having to tell myself you wont go off to college peeing your pants.
But now that you are in school seeing all your friends use the potty wont you please be a follower.
For this one time in your precious little life.
Do what the other kids are doing.
And not the ones peeing their pants.

I am starting to think that all the pants pee-ers are hanging out together like in a gang.
And I think you are the head honcho of the gang.
This must stop.

Please sit and at least put one tiny droplet of pee in the potty for your mom.
If you do, there are M&M's, suckers, stickers, ice cream, staying up late, a new car, whatever you want involved.
Think, you will be driving up to school in your brand new car, your other gang followers will think you are sooooo cool.

So, please, sleep on it, not the pee that is, this letter and get back to me on your decision.

Love, Mommy

Easy Way To Clean Your Makeup Brushes

Did you know you should clean your makeup brushes at least once a week?
Well, you should.
Do I do it all the time?
No.
Because I am crunch for time...always.
But I ran across the perfect, easy, and time saving way to clean your makeup brushes.
I promise you it is easy and effective.

What you will need is:

1. A Small Plate
2. Dirty Makeup Brushes
3. Dish Soap (I prefer the antibacterial kind)
4. Olive Oil
5. Paper Towels or Dish Rag
6. Running Water

Take your plate and drizzle equal parts of the dish soap and olive oil.

Swirl your brush around in the mixture,
and then just rinse off in warm water.

When I rinse off the brush I swirl the brush around on my hand (not shown...sorry)
to get any extra makeup and mixture off.

To dry the brushes,
lay them flat on a paper towel or dish rag.
You will want to lay them flat to avoid water dripping into the handle of the brush.

Now, wasn't that easy?!

The reason I use the antibacterial dish soap is to help prevent any extra germs from forming on my brushes.
They make antibacterial brushes now, however I don't own these.
But this is the same idea.

Once the brushes are clean and dry you will have super clean and soft brushes to use on your well deserved skin.

Bump Update::14 Weeks:: Pregnant Chick At A Wedding

This past week we went to a wedding.
And with my ever growing baby bump I had no idea what I was going to wear.
Plus, here in Florida it is a nice hot 80 plus degrees out.
So I needed something that fit, comfortable and cool to wear.
So I decided on the Maxxi.
Gosh I love these dresses what a perfect pregnancy dress!

So, in this post you will not only get my bump but I also wanted to show you the accessories, hair and makeup I rocked.

How far along?  14 weeks
2nd tri!

Baby Size: A Lemon

Total weight gain/loss: Not a fan of the scale.
I only step on that bad boy when they make me at the doctor.

Maternity clothes? Some non-maternity shirts that are flowy and forgiving but all pregnancy pants.
Half panels or leggings

Stretch marks?  Nope.

Sleep:  Not too hot this week.
I wake up several times in the night and am up by 6:00 a.m. (when I don't have to be)

Best moment this week:  Feeling the baby move more.
Oh, and that chocolate shake was pretty good.

The dress was a navy maxxi and I mixed it with a small Mint Bubble necklace and a gold chunky chain.

Have you told family and friends:  Yes, there is no hiding the bump.

Miss Anything?  Say it with me a-l-c-o-h-o-l

Movement:  Very little but I feel it a bit more this week.

Food cravings:  Nothing more than normal (for me).

Anything making you queasy or sick:  The thought of having to do any sort of house chore...haha

Have you started to show yet:  Oh yes.

Gender prediction:  I defiantly have my thoughts and a prediction from the US tech but I'm not saying a peep yet.

The curling wand is my BFF. I love that thing.
I wore a dark smokey eye with some pink lips.

Labor Signs: No.

Belly Button in or out? In.
And please stay IN Mr. Belly Button.

Wedding rings on or off? On for now.
But I start to feel a bit of swelling.
Hopefully I can keep them on for a couple more weeks.

Happy or Moody most of the time:   This week I was in a great mood.
Who knows what next week has in store for me.

Looking forward to: I would say finding out the sex but I am really looking for our vacation.
Just me and the hubs!
It is much, much, much needed.

Bump Update::13 weeks::

Hey-ya!
Remember me?!
I am still around.
I am surviving.
I think.

I have been terrible about documenting this pregnancy.
I wasn't that great documenting C's either and I had so much more time last pregnancy.
So I guess the whole documenting a new life is not my thang.
Last pregnancy I could go be a Paralegal by day, be Martha Stewart and Betty Crocker by night and still  squeeze in naps on the weekends.

This time all I want to do is sleep and not blog.
I am starting to get back into it but I stare at the ever loving computer screen all day at work so the last thing I want to do is open the computer and blog.

But here is it, in all its glory.
My 13 week bump!

How far along?  13 weeks!
Hallelujah for the 2nd trimester.
Baby Size: A Peach

Total weight gain/loss: Not really sure.

I try not to look at the scale.

Maternity clothes? I can wear some non-maternity shirts but I am into leggings now until I can fit back into my full panel pants.
I hate the half panels, they hit me the wrong way and are very uncomfortable.

Stretch marks?  No thank goodness but I am a lotion freak.

I didn't get any with C and hoping for non this this time too.

Sleep:  Good except getting up 2-3 times to go to the bathroom.

Best moment this week:  I am feeling a little less tired.

A little.

Have you told family and friends:  Yep!

Miss Anything?  Wine, Sangria and Margaritas!

Pretty much all alcohol.

Movement:  Yes very little but I can feel it every now and then.

Mostly when I am sitting.

Food cravings:  I crave carbs all the time so that isn't anything new.

So I would have to go ahead and say no.

Anything making you queasy or sick:  No thankfully.

Have you started to show yet:  Yep!

Gender prediction:  It is definitely a different pregnancy this go around.

Time will tell....eeek!!

Labor Signs: No.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On for now.
It came off super early with C so we shall have to wait and see.
I tend to swell a lot when I am pregnant.

Happy or Moody most of the time:   That is a question for the hubs.
I am kinda a moody person in the first place sooooo...??

Looking forward to: Finding out the sex!

I am not one of those girls who loves being pregnant.
I am trying to take it all in though since this will be my last.
At least I hope so.
So there answers that questions for ya.
Two kiddos is my max.

Two kiddos, a husband and a dog.
