I have this thing with the smell of clean fresh laundry. I want everything I own to smell fresh. I guess who doesn't though right?
I am also into saving a dime or two. To me, Downy Unstopables are a bit on the expensive side, so worth it because they give my laundry such a yummy and long lasting smell.
Just last weekend I was having company over and had the house all clean but it still did not have the fresh, I just put 6 hours of hard labor into cleaning this house smell. It needed a little extra fresh smell and realized I ran out of my go to Scentsy bars. I decided that it couldn't hurt to throw a couple of shakes of Downy Unstopables into my warmer. Well, I'm glad I did because it smelled like you just rolled around in some hot warm laundry. It was pure perfection if you ask me. Why had I not done this before? So easy and cheap. No more buying those expensive wax bars.
All you need is:
A wax warmer-
you can get them from Scentsy or even Walmart sells them. I got mine at Walmart a while ago.
They aren't very expensive wither. I think less than $15.00
Downy Unstopables-
sold at Target, Walmart, or your local grocery.
They run $4.99 for a small container or $9.99 or for the large container as shown above.
Turn your warmer on,
add a couple shakes and let it melt.
Warning: do not leave the warmer unattended as it may catch on fire.

I have about 60 bars of Scentsy....I'm slightly obsessed. But I am on a buying freeze till I use majority up.
I also will put some FCO (fractionated coconut oil) and a drop or 2 of essential oil in my warmer too. Works great.

Genius! I've heard that some of the non-Scentsy warmers get hotter and can burn your wax...but I'm so leery of starting a fire I rarely leave them on longer than a few hours anyways! This sounds PERFECT :)

This is such a good idea!.. I wish I could do it, but my daughter was just diagnosed with an allergy to many scents..I will have to check and see if there are any she can handle.
What a great idea! Especially after a winter where it was too cold to open windows!
